I have a 2013 ram 1500. After they reprogrammed the hoodswitch the remote start works great. The controllers for the dodge ram 1500 can stop working if too old or handled too roughly, but the problems can easily be fixed with a simple troubleshoot.

I've been seeing a lot of people saying the same problems. It has done this 4 times and each time i had the truck to the shop. The transmission is not in park mode (p).

My guess is that happened the first time the battery died because it was only at 2 volts. Has new batteries and have the same problem with both fobs. 2013 dodge ram 1500 will not start with key fob.
